Assignments included range from rides, opening and closing, admissions, attractions, retail, to supporting guest flow and capacity in assigned venues and shows. Integrated into all assignments is ensuring all Health, Safety & Security measures are in line with the Group Policies. This includes ensuring risk assessments, safe working procedures for all work activities.

 


Hawaii Department of Health and Human Services, Homeless Program Office Division,

Program Specialist

Responsible for the development, administration, and coordination of the State’s homeless programs and other State and Federal homeless funds, and the operations of homeless facilities and supportive social service programs for shelters, outreach, and grants. Implement planning, contracting, collaboration, and coordination with homeless providers and the counties on continuum of care strategies, develop and implement programs to alleviate homelessness, pursue private and federal funding opportunities that will enhance the State’s efforts to mitigate homelessness and coordinate development and oversight.

 


Hawaii Department of Health, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division, (2017-2022)

Program Specialist

Management and operations of the statewide registry for alcohol and drug abuse clean and sober recovery support homes; plan, coordinate, direct, monitor, program manager and evaluate in conformance with federal and state laws. Develop plans with all stakeholder communities both private and non-profit. Write Hawaii Administrative Rules in collaboration with AG and Office of the Governor; develop and execute upon statewide implementation plan; develop policies, procedures and standards; facilitate functionality of the provider website, application and certification process; develop provider-oriented training programs in relation to fiscal, organization, recovery, administration, and good neighbor standards.


Capital Christian Center Mega Church (2007 – 2017) 

Project Manager 

Responsible for Project Management of critical, high profile projects that involves major campaigns, high financial investment, internal, congregational, government and vender resources. Total project financial value to date since 2011: $2,949,000.

Notable Contributions:

    • Achieve assigned project’s operational objectives such as: develop strategic plans, prepare and lead action planning, implemented production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards, resolved problems and rapidly and effectively adjusted to changes.
    • Met financial objectives and forecast requirements, prepare budgets, schedule expenditures, and collaboratively developed corrective actions when necessary.
    • Develop relationships with all stakeholders, including county, city and state government leadership to facilitate project success.
    • Serve and assist the Executive Pastor, responsible for facilitating operational effectiveness, in a project management role resulting in him experiencing a better night’s sleep.
    • Design and implement Capital Advantage community engagement and new visitor retention program.
    • Project managed, designed, constructed and provided content development for $527,000 outreach program. This program was designed to engage 70,000 per day converting 20% to long-term, sustainable membership and revenue.

Necessitated working with 29 county departments through permitting process, presentations to Board of Supervisors, County Commission, County Counsel and seven surrounding communities, This was considered a controversial initiative necessitating a high degree of relationship building. Acted as General Contractor for seven contracting vendors and construction crews on a weekly basis for two years. Overcame complex obstacles ranging from water resource management, land management, electrical and Supreme Court rulings.

 


CenterPhi Marketing Consulting (2007 – 2016 Northern California Region) 

Sr. Marketing and New Business Consultant, Program Manager

Led the new business strategy with a client-base of 17 high-profile projects including 11 private sector and six government and non-profit organizations. In charge of a specific high-profile projects for 10 Planned, budgeted, oversaw and documented all aspects of each assignment including financial management and team building. Worked closely with upper management insuring scope and direction of each project was met. Primary responsibility for the private sector clients was to generate revenue and increase profitability.

Notable Achievements: Established economic redevelopment initiatives building a sustainable plan projecting $4.2B and 900 new jobs; City of Sac: Designed Corporate Recruitment, Baby Boomer Optimization and Homeless initiatives and awareness program.

Worked closely with county leadership representing the counties of Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino, Shasta, Humboldt, Marin to establish regional revenue consortium optimizing their respective financial resources. Created a global marketing strategy emphasizing a regional partnership.

U.S. Virgin Islands, Office of the Governor, USVIPD, High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (2003-2007)

Special-Aide, Interim Chief-Of-Staff (HIDTA)

Drove organizational and cultural change within the U.S. Virgin Islands Territory. Convened with the chief executive and management team to establish national and regional strategic alliances and partnerships. Authored, implemented, and project managed Virgin Islands Territories 2005-2009 Strategic Plan securing support from the community, business, tourism, and government protecting both the Territory and the tourism product.

Formed and developed a Territory-wide Citizen’s Advisory Committee creating connection between citizens, tourists, business, and government agencies.

Played an integral role to the leadership team responsible for new business creating a Research and Technology Park attracting global business, new jobs and development a sustainable economic redevelopment program. Initial partners included Intel, Sun Microsystems, Oracle and Cisco. Chairman of the Board was Larry Ellison. Primary responsibility was writing business plan for Work Force Development for the Territory and recruiting mainland, high-tech partners.

Played a key role in company’s venture into education and learning market. Formed a national advisory team encompassing K-12 and higher education. Worked collaboratively with hardware and sales personnel to develop and deliver innovative hardware and software solutions. Formulated and implemented effective product marketing strategies and tools, advertising campaigns, and sales promotions to generate brand awareness and secure sustainable brand loyalty.
